Scope of our services
Maple Consults Services Inc. provides bookkeeping, tax preparation and tax planning services. We are not a licensed public accounting firm in Ontario and we do not provide audit or review engagements. We do not provide legal services, and incorporation documents are prepared by a lawyer or a registered incorporation service.
When an engagement begins
Contacting us, booking a consultation or downloading a resource does not create a professional relationship. An engagement begins only when a written scope and fee have been agreed by both parties.
Your responsibilities as a client
The accuracy of any return depends on the completeness of the information provided. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the records and information you give us, and for reviewing and approving anything filed on your behalf.
Fees
Fees are agreed in writing before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately and will not begin until you accept it.
Limitation of liability
Our liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where the law does not permit that limitation.
