What we collect
When you contact us through this website or download a resource, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, stage of practice and anything you write in the message field. If you become a client, we collect the financial and tax information needed to perform the engagement.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to send you the resource you requested, and to provide the accounting and tax services you engage us for. We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only where necessary to deliver the service, for example with the Canada Revenue Agency when filing on your behalf under your authorisation, or with software providers used to prepare and store your records. We require those providers to protect your information.
How we protect it
Documents are exchanged through an encrypted portal rather than as email attachments. Accounts are protected with multi factor authentication. Records are retained for the period required by Canadian tax legislation and then securely destroyed.
If you request a resource we may send occasional related emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing has no effect on any service you have engaged us for.

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to retain. Write to us at the email address below.
